The Voice…

In the Beginning there was the Word…

“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- having a form of godliness but denying its power. ” 2nd Timothy 3:1-9

Brethren in the Lord, these last days are here and our time is now. We live in an age of darkness and spiritual indifference where the sons of men have sold eternity in the name of brevity. We have fatally turned our backs on the Lion of Judah, insolently rejected His invitation to the Feast of Saints to embrace the kiss of death- the lies, empty promises, deceitful schemes, the fleeting taste of sin and the intoxicating elixir of the flesh. Like barking dogs without ears we fail to heed the call of the King of kings, refuse to subscribe to his laws and commandments, yet like dogs to their vomit, we expediently ascribe to the sonnets of Lucifer. The path to Hades continues to widen and drunk with life many race through this path into the reception of perdition. Yet, the path to eternity, to glory, to emancipation, continues to narrow and fewer and fewer are the feet that tread the golden path. Why? “For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many are they that enter through it.” Matthew 7:13.

So what are we saying? The harvest is near, the barn is prepared, but the farmers are few and fewer are the fruits of their labor. This is our commission as Christians; this is our duty as Ambassadors of Christ. For the enemy works tirelessly and great is the battle that must be fought. But our strength is neither in the sword nor in chariots led by men. But rather, we take up the full armor of God, standing firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around our waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, we take up the shield of faith, with which we can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. We take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. –Ephesians 6:14. With this and through the blood of the Innocent Lamb of Light, the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ our Lord, we have been made conquerors! And this battle is ours.

The Celestial Church of Christ, Voice Of Grace parish, was founded not by the intentions or fancies of man, but through the express and irrevocable will of God. For first came the Voice, the voice and living Will of God, through which the foundation of this parish was laid, and then came the Grace, the grace of our lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by which the family, the congregation is certified and in which the Church remains indemnified. And there is not a man born of woman nor a government ruled by Satan that can nor will shake the foundation and everlasting covenant the Lord has made. We are not followers of Christ. We are formidable warriors in Christ, pledged to reap for our Lord a bountiful Harvest of Saints. Love is not a promise. Love is not a goal. For us love is a culture, an irreversible way of life. We do not read the word; we live by the word.
