VOG Intercessory Prayer & Spiritual Ministry

Objectives:
  • To make Voice of Grace Parish a “House of Prayer” where prayers, requests and intercessions are made for everyone and where prayer is integrated into every function, ministry and program in and out of the church.

    ONLINE PRAYER REQUESTS
    Just send us your prayer requests, and we will continue to pray until God establishes your cause. All you have to do is believe!

    POST SERVICE INTERCESSORY SESSIONS
    James 5: 13-14 “Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.” This involves the help of several prayer warrior members of the parish who stay late after each service to offer prayers on behalf of the members of the congregation or visitors looking to the Lord for one thing or the other; whether blessing, healing, deliverance and just simply His favor.

    PRAYER PARTNERING
    James 5: 16 “…pray for each other so that you may be healed.” Prayer partnering improves the camaraderie between members of the congregation who wouldn’t necessarily interact under different circumstances and also encourages us to pray for one another as Christ did instruct. This involves the pairing of people in the church to interact and pray for each other over an appointed period of time.

    TAKE-HOME PRAYER REQUESTS
    Isaiah 62: 6-7 “I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth” So we will bother the Lord till He establishes everyone of our hearts desires. People with prayer requests are encouraged to put forth their prayers and prayer warriors will take them home with them and make those requests part of their daily commune with God.

    TELEPHONE INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY
    Hebrews 4:16 “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” The Telephone Ministry (via a teleconferencing system) is another innovative means we reach out to people in need of God Grace and cannot necessarily be involved in all the other prayer programs. It is a vibrant and energized prayer session over an assigned period of time were different issues are prayed over based off of general spirit driven directives and requests put forth by the teleconference attendees. There should be scheduled days and times made available to the public when these teleconferences are run.

    PRAYER WORKSHOPS & PRAYER BOOK
    Workshops will be offered at various times in an effort to equip those who are interested in learning more about prayer. Come and discover the principles, purpose and power behind prayer. Also work on putting together a prayer book that people can take home to develop their prayer lives.
